E-Cycle Days

E-Cycle Days

We hold regular e-cycle days in various locations throughout Northern Nevada where we ask members of the community to bring in their e-waste for us to recycle. This includes all electronic waste (eWaste) computers (dead or alive), printers (new or old), monitors, cell phones, toner & ink cartridges, copiers, fax machines, stereos, software and manuals - no televisions unfortunately.

Click the links below to review more information on these! (pdf document format)

Nevada Day Parade - October 31th, 2009
Again last year, ComputerCorps was a prize winner by capturing 1st Prize for its category.  The ComputerCorps float consisted of a 50" trailer donated and pulled by Ponderosa Trucking.  Decorations included over 500 computers that needed to be refurbished with the theme of the float being "Nevada Today, the Universe Tomorrow.  The float displayed a conveyor system with aliens building and upgrading computers and then loading them onto a "spaceship".  The spaceship was constructed entirely out of computer parts.

More than 200 entries in the parade this year 2009 will provide fun and tough competition with a theme of the parade being "Nevada Salutes President Lincoln".
