ComputerCorps Needs

With the ever-growing demand for the services and programs that we offer, ComputerCorps needs the following items.  If you know someone that can help, or if you have any interest in helping, please contact us at: admin@computercorps.net.

ComputerCorps has some urgent needs so that we can continue to grow and serve the needs of the local communities.

Computer Equipment -- Donations are needed of used computers, software, monitors, printers and parts.

Financial Support -- We need money to purchase additional parts and software for the growing backlog of requests for repairing and upgrading computers.

Volunteers – Additional volunteers are needed to establish a consistent labor force for administrative, technical and facilities work and projects.

Scholarships – Corporate, business, community and individual sponsors are needed to provide scholarships for kids and at-risk youth who desire to be involved in the "TechCamp" or "Techs-In-Training" Programs.

Staff -- Due to the overwhelming response for our programs, funds are needed to hire full-time salaried employees, in addition to our volunteers.

Facilities Materials and equipment are needed to enhance and improve our warehouse and production facilities. These facilities currently include a 20,000 sq. ft. warehouse, an 8,000 sq. ft. Technology Learning Center (TLC) and a 12,000 sq. ft. recycling center.

In Kind Services – Services are needed such as printing, advertising and marketing as well as maintenance, landscaping and construction.

Referrals -- We need referrals and introductions to organizations and individuals that might assist us with the above needs.

How to Donate to ComputerCorps

Donating to ComputerCorps is actually quite easy!  We accept checks, credit cards and PayPal.

We accept donations of electronic components, computers, monitors, printers, keyboards, mice, software, and other miscellaneous office furniture and equipment, including copy machines and fax machines.

We also accept cash donations, sponsorships and raffle prizes for our fundraisers such as the "Hackers & Whackers Golf Tournament" and "The Great Computer Raffle".

We are also in need of transportation vehicles to pick up and deliver equipment and building supplies to continue the refurbishing of our facilities. For a more complete list of donations needed, please click on that link above. Simply fax or give us a call, tell us what you would like to donate, and arrange whether you want to drop it off or have it picked up by us.

After we received your donation, a donation receipt with IRS Tax ID Number and thank-you letter will be faxed or sent to you in the mail. Your name or company name will be added to the appropriate list of ComputerCorps donors and partners.

As you know, ComputerCorps is an organization dedicated to helping provide job opportunities and computer equipment to individuals in the community, while eliminating eWaste in our nations landfills. Any and all support we receive is much appreciated!
