Who is This Class For?
Seniors and new users to the Internet. In this course, students will learn the most important and basic topics of E-Mail.
This will include how to navigate Microsoft Outlook Express, the ability to create, edit, and format E-Mail’s, create and add “pizzazz” to an-mail, How to reply and forward e-mail, How to set up an address book and use it, How to get on the Internet.
Prerequisite:
This course covers two (2) hour with live hands on internet lab and assumes that students have learned basic of the Windows operating systems navigation and file management skills.
Lectures and Lab:
Hands on use of the internet an lectures. Important material from the text and outside sources will be covered in class. Students should plan to take careful notes as not all material can be found in the texts or readings. Outside material relevant to topics being covered, i.e. use of the Internet, downloading, and commonly used intent software.
