    Build and Take Home Your Own Computer
    with the “Every Home A Classroom”™ TechCamp 2K14 (2014)

     The ComputerCorps “Every-Home-A-Classroom” TM TechCamp is an annual summer program for youth 10-15 years old. This 2-week program gives kids the opportunity to learn about computer recycling, testing and assembly while building a computer system they can take home or give to a needy family at the end of camp.

     The Starting Dates for the “Every Home A Classroom” TechCamp 2K13 (2013) are:

    TechCamp Alpha — June 9.10,11,12,13 & June 16,17,18,19,20

    TechCamp Bravo — July 7,8,9,10,11 &  July 14,15,16,17,18

    TechCamp Charlie — July 21,22,23,24,25 & July 28,29,30,31 August 1

    TechCamp Delta — August 4,5,6,7,8 – Aug 11,12,13,14,15

    This year the tuition for the TechCamp is $350. This includes all materials, tools, snacks, TechCamp shirts and hats, and a 2 Gigahertz+ computer system which the student builds during the camp.

    Scholarships: Low-income families are encouraged to apply as some scholarships are available from businesses and service organizations.

    Parents are encouraged to participate as counselors and teachers and adult volunteers are always welcome to participate.

What We Do

ComputerCorps is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization that provides access to computers & training to underserved families, while eliminating eWaste in our nation s landfills. To support our mission, we sell refurbished technology, provide IT services, build servers and phone systems, and repair computers in store.
