Nearly 30 youth from 9-15 participated in one of our 2 week TechCamps at our Carson City Refurbishment Center. The took apart and rebuilt computers, built their own internet model, worked on binary based cryptography, created presentations about what they were passion about in technology and life, and went home with a computer they set up and customized.
Even with daily quizzes over computer terms and technology, individual and group projects there was still time snacks, games and competitions like key shuffleboard, the mouse toss, CD fling, and skeet mouse.
